1. Santa Ana Volcano - 2381m
The highest in the country with its spectacular turquoise crater. Moderate difficulty, 4-5h round trip. Mandatory guide from Cerro Verde Park.
2. Izalco Volcano - 1950m
The Lighthouse of the Pacific with its perfect cone. High difficulty with steep slope. Active until 1966.
3. San Salvador Volcano - 1893m
The capitals volcano with its 1.5km crater. Easy and accessible by car via Parque El Boquerón.
4. Conchagua Volcano - 1243m
Panoramic view of 3 countries from the Gulf of Fonseca. Ideal for sunrise.
5. Chaparrastique Volcano - 2129m
The most active with fumaroles and lunar landscape. Check activity before departing.
